Just because a dead bodies at the top of the pile doesn't mean it's not dead.

Double quote, Trekkin.
Q is a worthless additional character that needs to be lined up and shot along with other extras to help reinforce the already pointless storyline that did not exist and become good until later seasons.

I meant Federation. Anyways, fed, why did you double quote and only highlight one for any serious purpose?

I think that, although Q is extremely troublesome, he still wants the best for humanity. Like when he blasted Picard's ship into the path of the Borg cube, and it was to show him that humanity was not ready for some of the worse dangers out there. And he was right. Every time the Borg pop up, they decimate everything in their path. Plus, if Q really wanted to be troublesome, he could have done something much worse, like extinguishing the Sun, or taking a chunk out of Earth, or even destroying the Federation.
_________________ Uh, hi. We are the Borg, and we would totally be psyched if you joined our collective. So could you please surrender your ships? 'Cuz those big, gigantic battles are so five minutes ago, and they always seem to end in our box getting destroyed. Plus, resistance is totally futile.
